Haha..... yeah , the exact expression i had when i heard about Drupal a year ago. But after a few hours of surfing, i came to a somewhat a logical end. No matter how tough is it or how steep is the learning curve. I'm gonna stay with drupal. From then on, my life has been drupalized. Yeah, i started thinking in terms of Drupal, blocks , views, taxonomy.....
Yeah, i tried to do it really well, right from the basics, but u know, it takes really time to know exactly the basics and the working, so i turned to follow some available material on drupal, youtube videos and so on. But the inner desire wasn't to just to do a website and make money, of course i did walk around pala trying to build a yellow page for pala in the most modern sense. I knew that with the very little knowledge i have about Drupal its not easy for me to venture out.
So i planned to keep Drupal as my hobby, something i spend most of my time with, well since my exams are near and getting some marks is more important than following ur heart, i've kept apart my Dear drupal, and have shut down my WAMP server and am now peering into the Turing Machines i'm supposed to design for the TOC exams.
But in my dreams, the blue mascot of drupal urges me to do something really useful to someone, something deployable like the MOODLE or the Drupal itself.
Yes, I'm in love with Drupal, its deep, i don't wish to cash her, but i want to pour in some quantity of quality into her. Yes, someday, i'll be launching some useful software stack, completely free and open for the Govt of India, under an open and free and freaking active group.
I can't stand to see myself standing there helplessly staring at people and the world , not being able to answer a simple question. What have u done for us? Its the goal of my life, before i die, i be able to give someone something from me, with an understatement ....
With Love
